Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks.

This was a cute movie.
I always liked Gena Rowlands, she is born 1930! Still going strong.

The best mushroom salad ever.

I could just eat the whole thing by myself. Delicious!

Ingredients
  • 2 (8 oz) packages small, firm button mushrooms
Dressing:
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup fresh chopped basil
Instructions
  1. Wipe the mushrooms clean with a damp paper towel. Place them in a serving bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing on the mushrooms. Add the basil, toss to coat and serve. Serves 4

Autumn is on the horizon.

I really love this time of the year. It's still warm and pleasant but not too hot or too cold, just in between. And I can finally have jeans, sweaters and boots! Crisp, fresh autumn days ahead.

Home sweet home <3

The Catskills in the far distance (the blueish shadow is the mountains).

Someone is collecting a lot of nuts in our barn.

And all these deers! They are not even afraid of you, this one was following me around.

Biking in Rhinebeck, NY.

The perfect day to just bike around in Rhinebeck. A little windy, not too sunny or too warm. And we just got new biking helmets and lights for our bikes. I don't feel comfortable biking without a helmet, I like to feel as safe as I can get on a bike.
It was a nice ride!
